Koyomi
Koyomi (2022-present) is a selection of an ongoing collection of photographic works exploring time through the traditional East Asian calendar of 24 solar terms and 72 microseasons and their adaptation to the Japanese landscape in the 1600s.
The work documents landscape and people through this lens of granular, attentive time. ☀︎
Both 35mm and medium format film were used to create these images. Koyomi is currently being developed as a dummy.
