Ink
Ink (2021-present) is a slow yet steady ink practice using sumi ink and pens. Without adhering to any rules or cadence, the ink spreads whenever the mood strikes.
For years I was not comfortable drawing by hand, having completely adopted the mouse and trackpad in my artistic practice. The dependence on technology did not help with my perfectionist tendencies and took time before I could appreciate the quirks and mistakes that come from the hand. ☀︎
